MCX Evening Session Closure January 1, 2026 

On account of New Years Day (Thursday, January 1, 2026), commodity markets will be open only for the first half. The evening session will remain closed from 5:00 PM onwards. 

All intraday commodity positions will be squared off 30 minutes before close of the market.
