F&O contract expiry day changes

NSE and BSE have announced changes to the expiry days of Index and Stock Derivatives contracts.
  • From September 1, 2025:
    • NSE:
      • Weekly expiry  Every Tuesday (First Nifty weekly expiry  Sept 2, 2025)
      • Monthly expiry (Equity derivatives)  Last Tuesday of the month
    • BSE:
      • Weekly expiry  Every Thursday (First Sensex weekly expiry  Sept 4, 2025)
      • Monthly expiry (Equity derivatives)  Last Thursday of the month
